Front line police officers serve a unique and vital role in a constitutional democracy – they are both authority figures and public servants. They are entrusted with significant power and held to a higher standard in how they use it. They are expected to make split second decisions – sometimes involving the use of lethal force – which are then closely scrutinized. This website is dedicated to creating a virtual learning environment to enable senior police officers in leadership positions to provide front line officers guidance, support and the tools they need to succeed in this difficult profession.
